Characteristic: This preparation is mainly composed of chloride and fluoride salts of magnesium, sodium and potassium. It has low melting point (653K-673K), suitable surface tension, melts into liquid at the melting temperature of the alloy, and automatically forms a continuous coating. Because of the role of special inorganic additives, it continuously releases inert gas, which makes the surface of magnesium liquid protected by solvent and gas. Medium and long time standing without breaking and sinking, effective time more than three hours, less harmful gases, in line with industrial health standards and emission requirements.
Usage: Suitable for smelting of magnesium alloys and aluminium-magnesium alloys.
Usage: The dosage is 1-2%, which is usually determined by the degree of tightness of the coating. At the beginning of smelting, a certain amount of melting material is added to the bottom of the crucible and then filled into the furnace. The surface of the solution should be kept 5-10 mg of the coating. The addition method of Al-Mg alloy is the same as that of Al ingot, which is melted together with Al ingot. Magnesium ingot and refining charge are added under cover protection condition. If the metal level is exposed, it should be added in time.
